Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Sale Haul

Hey everyone! It’s Aspen, and today I am back with another haul!

I’ve recently received the items that I had bought during the Victoria’s Secret semi-annual sale in the mail, and I have decided to share them with you all. I rarely will shop at Victoria’s Secret because I frankly can’t afford to, so when their stuff goes on sale, I will jump right on it. Because I’m going on vacation in a few weeks, I thought that it would be the perfect time to pick up some new bikinis and fun Pink wear. I find that splurging every now and then on some good quality items is okay because they will last you a few good years if you take care of them right, and they will look great as well!

Last summer, I had the unfortunate incident of my boobs growing from a literal 32B to 34DD within a week, and of course, during that week, I was having a new bikini being shipped to me. With a little luck, I was able to make the tiny swimsuit fit my curves for the two weeks that I was on vacation, but I knew that after that summer, that bikini would have to go. With that said, I had to get a few new swimsuits for this upcoming break in Las Vegas, Nevada, which in turn (somewhat) justifies these purchases:)

Without further ado, here is what I picked up at this recent sale!

1. Knotted – Back Flounce Crop Top in Pink Aztec, marked down to $19.99 from $39.50

Knotted-Back Flounce Crop Top in Pink Aztec, $19.99

Because I have a rather large bust, I find that it is better for me to invest in a more expensive bikini top than bottoms because I need the added support to keep everything secured while spending a day at the beach. I don’t like shopping from the actual Victoria’s Secret line because their level of sexiness in their designs are too much for me, so I am drawn to their more youthful Pink line.

With that said, the colors and fun knotted-back will look great against tan skin and probably give off some rather interesting tan lines as well;)

2. Ruched Hipkini Bikini Bottoms in Coral Blaze, marked down to $16 from $22.50

Ruched Hipkini Bikini Bottoms in Coral Blaze, $16

This pair of bottoms was chosen to go together with the previously shown bikini top, mainly because I thought the coral color of these bottoms would look great with the pinks and blues of the top. The ruching in the sides and back are designed to make your hips look slimmer and your behind more lifted, which is desirable by most females when choosing a new pair of bikini bottoms.

The ruching also makes these bottoms perfect for tanning in, because they expose slightly more skin on your rear than other bottoms would.

3. Double String Bottom in Black, marked down to $16 from $22.50

Double String Bottom in Black, $16

There’s nothing really special about these bottoms: they’re black and string-style, but that is exactly why I got them. I figured that a plain, black pair of bottoms will go with nearly every top that I get in the future, making them one of the most versatile items that I own. Because I see these bottoms as being a constant in my closet for a while, I didn’t mind spending a little bit more than I usually would on a swimsuit.

If you don’t want to show too much skin on your hips, the strings on the sides are easily adjustable to limit or expand the amount of skin that you want to be exposed on your backside:)

Because I’m not much of a swimmer and I’m only going on a short vacation this summer, it made sense to only purchase one bikini set and an extra pair of bottoms.

I also love Pink’s apparel because they are very comfortable to lounge and sleep in, and also to run and do yoga in as well:)

From the Pink line at Victoria’s Secret, I also purchased this pair of yoga shorties:

Pink Seamless Yoga Shortie in Black/Allover Aztec, $29.95

Pink Seamless Yoga Shortie in Black/Allover Aztec, $29.95

As I have recently begun doing yoga in preparation for maximum support while donning a bikini, I thought that I might as well get a pair of pants that are actually meant for doing yoga in. I’m an avid runner, and the leggings and shorts that I wear to run in are not as comfortable to do yoga in, as it might seem.

These shorts were not included in the semi-annual sale, and I did pay full price for these. I’ve owned similar shorts by Victoria’s Secret in the past and have loved them, which convinced me to pick up another pair, whether they were full price or not.

Let me know what you are most excited for this summer and have a great time, regardless of what you are doing!

Have a great night, Aspen:)
