Choose my Outfit! – First Day of School

Hi everyone! I’m Aspen, and today I need a little help…

The first day of school is a fresh start, and a new outfit can boost a person’s confidence and make them feel ready for the new day. Since I know that 60% of the school year will be spent in running shorts, yoga pants and sweaters, I might as well try to look nice for the first day, right? I’m very indecisive when it comes to petty things like this, so I thought, maybe my followers could make my decisions for me?

Without further ado, here are my back-to-school outfit ideas!

Outfit #1

polyvore one

This is completely me. A nice sweater and dark pair of jeans can form infinite combinations, making them worth a pricey cost. Lace-up boots provide support and warmth during rainy weather, and the bag and necklace complete the look.

Sweater- American Eagle Factory Lightweight Jegging Sweater, $40

Jeans – Topshop Moto Black Ripped Jamie Jeans, $75

Bag- Frye Campus Crossbody, $328

Shoes- Sam Edelman ‘Darwin’ suede lace up boots, $18

Jewelry- Needle Symphony Necklace, $18

Outfit #2

When I’m feeling a little dressier one day, this is the kind of look I would go for. Light & breezy tank tops and shorts are perfect for a warm afternoon, and the black blazer can add warmth and shape to the top. The accessories and shoes polish off the outfit.

Jacket – SJSP Women Long Sleeve Open Drape Front Blazer, $28

Top – Floral Print Crop Top in White, $24

Shorts – Forever 21 Smocked Crepe Woven Shorts, $13

Bag – Forever 21 Mod Girl Structured Crossbody, $20

Shoes – Avery Sandal in Black, $48

Earrings – Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia 6MM Round Stud Earrings, $15

Bracelet – Collete Z Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia Graduated Style Tennis Bracelet, $57

Outfit #3

When it’s warm outside, I will go for an outfit that doesn’t include pants. Therefore, I like dresses that are flowy and move freely. To add more interest, I like this fringe bag and gold jewelry, as well as the little gold skulls on these sandals.

Dress – Mango Ruffled Chiffon Dress, $50

Bag – eLuxe Fringed Crossbody Bag in Black, $32

Shoes – Metal-skulls T-bar Flit-flops flat sandals, $28

Necklace – With Love from CA Triple Layer Necklace, $9.95

Bracelet – H&M 20-pack bracelet, £3.99

Let me know in the comments down below telling me what your favorite outfit is, distinguishing with a #1, #2, or #3!

I hope you’ve enjoyed tonight’s post, and don’t forget to like, comment, and follow!

Have a beautiful night,

-Aspen 🙂

  1. Well I just had my first day of school today and I did not really pay much attention to what I was going to wear…though I kind of wish I did because I lacked more confidence than usual today but then…I have confidence issues period. I just had on a pair of dark blue denim jeans, tennis shoes, and a bright orange collar shirt ;p. As a whole go, I went for comfort so that is what I suggest for you…go for the outfit that will be comfortable not only in fit but that can work with any weather. While it may be warm outside, sometimes classrooms can be a bit chilly. So, I would say either outfit #1 or #2. Though I am leaning more towards # 1, the first day is a good day to make first impressions and it is a more polished look ( with the blazer in all) so I also like #2. Coming from an indecisive person also go, wear what you feel best represents you/how you want to look at the end of the day!

    1. I hope your first day of school went well though! Confidence comes with time, so don’t stress to much about it hun:) There’s the most bipolar weather where I live, it’ll be raining one day and then intense sun the next, making it difficult to know what to wear some days. Thank you for your input:)

  2. I like the first and the last outfit the best 🙂 just wear what you feel the most comfortable in and something weather appropriate.
